SOURCED BOX | JUNE ’17

As I write this you would not think it was June. The sky is clouded and the rain is pouring. A contrast to the weather we’ve had over the past couple of weeks. I honestly feel as if our summer has came and went. However, it’s not all doom and gloom and the arrival of this months Sourced BoxΒ has brightened up this week significantly.

THE VEGAN KIND | MAY ’17

I know this post is later than usual and that’s because I was seriously contemplating not posting this months box at all. Why? Well, I had an unfortunate incident with one of this months products, or so I believe. When I write these posts I want to be 100% true with you guys and so when I say that this box has been my least favourite I want you to know that it’s for good reason and that reason will be explained. However, despite the misfortune surrounding this box I continue to look forward to all future TVK boxes.

SOURCED BOX | MAY ’17

First year of uni complete and my summer has officially began!Β My plans for the summer of 2017 is to drink myself into oblivion with my friends, go on my first ever group holiday without my parents, go to a bunch of theme parks with my family and hopefully spend more time making things from my collection of recipe books. Snacks will obviously be needed in between all of this and Sourced BoxΒ have me off to a great start with their May box.Β With the perfect mix of sweet and savoury, I can’t wait to dive in.

WHAT I EAT IN A DAY | NOT WEDNESDAY

For some reason I had it in my head that today was Wednesday so I was all ready to hit out with another ‘What I Ate Wednesday’ post. So you can imagine my annoyance when I realised it was actually Thursday. I honestly have no idea where this week is going (personally I blame all the studying I’ve been having to do this week. My brain is turning to mush!) However, I thought I would still write up a what I eat in a day post. After all, Wednesday isn’t the only day of the week that I eat.

DO I HAVE A FEAR OF HUNGER?

It might sound ridiculous but I think I have a fear of hunger. Go back three years ago and it was a fear of food itself. I like to think of this as the perfect example as to how eating problems can linger for years and how once you overcome one obstacle, another arises. Well, to this obstacle i’m saying enough is enough. I want to be able to eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m satisfied and comfortably full. I want to not have to bring a stash of snacks with me wherever I go and not plan the days events around my meals. I’m hoping this post will not only potentially help others recognise their own fear of feeling hungry, but will also encourage me to get my butt in gear and give this intuitive eating malarkey a go for real.

WHAT I ATE IN LONDON

Firstly I want to apologise for the lack of posts this past month. I’ve been so caught up with uni that any free time I’ve had to focus on my blog and YouTube I’ve been putting it solely on YouTube. Now that my classes have finished though and all that’s left is to study for my one exam, I’m going to make sure that my blog is back on its A-game.

So, I thought that my first post in this comeback should be a little what I eat in a day post. But this isn’t just your average food diary. I’ve just returned from a trip down south visiting my Grandad with my sister where we also spent a day in London. I thought it would be interesting to share with you guys what I ate while I was there.
