After last months fail of a box, I knew that this months The Vegan Kind box had to be much better. I can confirm that it 100% is. I’ve already devoured the majority of the snacks and am back to being thoroughly impressed with TVK’s lifestyle box.
These first two products are ‘all natural’ variations of things you can find in all supermarkets and corner shops. ‘Sunsoul‘ have created a range of natural energy drinks that are 100x better for you than normal energy drinks that tend to be packed with added sugar and god knows what else. Admittedly I do love those energy drinks and this isn’t quite the same, but if it’s just an extra boost of caffeine you’re looking for then this is a much better option. This is the raspberry & elderflower flavour and I’ve also tried their spiced mango & pineapple flavour. Both are little fruity delights.
‘Chewsy‘ have their own ‘natural’ chewing gum which comes in the form of little cubes. The change in ingredients means that the consistency is different. I find it much more sticky and the lemon flavour unfortunately only lasts a few seconds.
TVK did well with the snacks this month. I used to eat this sweet n salty popcorn by ‘Metcalfe’s‘ all the time but I haven’t had it in ages so I was happy to see a packet in this months box. Perfect for snacking in the evening when you’re catching up on TV shows or YouTube!
I’ve always been intrigued by ‘Bounce‘ balls and I tried the peanut one a few months back. Recently they released a range of vegan energy balls and I must say that I 100% prefer these ones to the normal. The consistency and flavour is just much better in my opinion. Although I may not be the best judge since I had only tried just one of the normal energy balls beforehand.
Finally we have these salted sticky toffee treats by ‘Goupie.’ I’ve yet to try these but I’m sure I’ll love them. They are chocolatey after all.
This months non-edible item is another candy by ‘Harpers Candles.’ This brand is obviously a firm favourite at TVK as they’ve featured several times now. I will admit that I’m not a huge fan of this scent. It smells like cut grass which I do enjoy the smell of but just not in candle form (I am very much a spiced and food scent candle lover). However, I’m sure that this scent is right up some people’s street.
