This month’s Sourced Box is packed full with a mix of familiar and not-so-familiar brands to keep you going through the hot summer weather (although us Scots may beg to differ on the hot front). In July’s box we’ve got a bit of everything from granola to raw chocolate to fruit crisps so without further ado let’s dive right in.
Sometimes you just wanna open a packet of something and munch on it throughout the day. This months Sourced Box is happily providing that opportunity with these three goodies. The best part about it is that you won’t feel guilty over finishing the whole packet. First we have these jujube crisps by ‘Abakus.’ The jujube fruit is pretty much just a red date. Prior to following the brand on Instagram, I had never heard of this fruit before but I have yet to have a bad experience with fruit crisps so I’m sure they’ll be a delight. Next we have something that I’m very intrigued by: savoury sweet potato granola by ‘Rolla Granola.’ Granola is one of my favourite things to have for breakfast but this is more of a snacking granola. What intrigues me is the fact that this pack has a whole sweet potato in and also the fact that I have never tried savoury granola before. Finally we have the return of the coconut pecks by ‘inSpiral.’ I’m a huge fan of the salted caramel and raspberry coconut pecks so am interested to see what these savoury smokin’ ones are like. The ingredients include paprika so that should give you a hint as to what they’ll be like.
Whenever someone states that chocolate is unhealthy I just want to whip out my collection of raw chocolate. We’re so blessed to live in a time where it’s possible to eat chocolate with all the nutrients included. A fine example of such nutritious chocolate is this luxury dark chocolate truffle by ‘Science Kitchen.’ We also have some chocolate & coconut pili nuts by ‘Raw & Wild.’ Like the jujube fruit, I had never heard of pili nuts before so am intrigued as to what they’ll be like compared to other nuts. These are packed full with vitamin E and magnesium. See, eating chocolate can be perfectly healthy!
As always Sourced Box provides us with a tea and this month we have the return of the ‘Bluebird Tea co.‘ and their pineapple sorbet green tea. I can’t imagine you can get a more summery green tea than that. We also have some apple & root ginger birch water by ‘Tapped.’ The birch water was the first thing I tried from this months box and I can confirm that it is both refreshing and delicious.
If you’re looking to balance out your snacks and take a break from all the ice cream you’ve been devouring then look no further. This month we have another packet of munchies by ‘Raw Gorilla.’ This time we have the lemon, lucuma & coconut flavour. I’m a huge fan of ‘Raw Gorilla’s’ munchies. The texture is so weird but amazing. Their soft but with a bit of a crunch at the same time! These final two products are also from returning brands: ‘The Bondi Kitchen‘ and ‘Creative Nature Superfoods.’ These acai, chia & raspberry raw bliss balls are perfect for an on-the-go energy boost while if you’re looking for an extra hit of protein, ‘Creative Nature Superfoods’ new protein flapjack is what you’re needing.
