SOURCED BOX | JANUARY ’17

A year ago I received the first ever Sourced Box. 12 months later I still have no regrets about signing up to this healthy snacking subscription. I still feel that same excitement I felt that very first month whenever I receive the dispatched email.

The first box of 2017 is packed full of treats to give your body that extra nutritious boost we all feel we need after the festive period. From vegetable crisps to raw chocolate, you can start the year off on a health high.

FOODIE PRESENT IDEAS

Firstly I want to apologise for my lack of posts this past week. The due dates for my second set of uni assignments have been fast approaching and when not doing uni work I’ve been hanging out with my boyfriend, friends and consuming too much alcohol. Gotta love that student life! I’m trying my hardest to not let my blog falter too much and I’ll definitely be back to my normal blogging routine next month.

Anyway, I thought that since Christmas is fast approaching – a month tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!! – I would compile a mini gift guide. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love food, especially free food. I’ve searched the depths of the internet and found a few gifts that any health food junkie would love.

CHOCOHOLICS CHRISTMAS HAMPER

If you’re feeling rather generous towards the chocoholic in your life then this hamper is perfect! For £150 My Healthy Nibbles have put together a 22″ hand crafted woven hamper packed with loads of chocolate goodies from brands including Sweet Freedom, Ombar and Booja Booja. I think if someone gave me this I’d cry tears of joy! There are also other hampers to choose from including a vegan hamper and a general healthy snack one.

SOURCED BOX | NOVEMBER ’16

The penultimate Sourced Box of 2016 has arrived. I can’t quite believe how fast this year has gone. I can’t wrap my head around the range of new snacks I’ve tried over the past 11 months and most of it is all down to this beauty of a subscription.

Anyway, there will be time for snacking reflection next month. Let’s dive right into the November Sourced Box.

HEALTHY SNACK BOXES

Whether I’m only just noticing them since I’m now more interested in subscription boxes or they are genuinely on the rise, there is no denying that these monthly boxes are everywhere. Think of anything and you can almost 100% guarantee that there will be some sort of subscription box for it.

For those that are interested in healthy eating, or just food in general, there are a whole load of subscriptions to choose from. There are so many that it can be overwhelming when trying to choose one so I’ve created a list in hope to narrow down your choices. In an ideal world I would be subscribed to them all! Alas, I am only subscribed to the top two in this list. However, I have searched around and found three other boxes that may take your fancy. Each are unique in their own way and the great thing about them is that most of them cost roughly the same.

‘RHYTHM 108’ CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT TEA BISCUITS REVIEW

It’s been a while since I’ve written up a snack review so I thought it was about time that I started them up again. I’m going to aim to review at least one product from each months ‘Sourced Box‘ and one product from ‘The Vegan Kind‘. There are so many healthy snacks/vegan alternatives out there that it can be overwhelming at times. Hopefully these reviews will help you in making your snack choices. You can taste the food through me!

I’m starting up these reviews again with one of my favourite brands, ‘Rhythm 108.’ Sourced Box first introduced me to this brand earlier this year and since that first appearance, they have featured twice more in the box. This time around we have the second of two of their tea biscuits – chocolate hazelnut.

WHAT I ATE WEDNESDAY | 10/8/26

Today marked the day that I finally bought myself a new phone after needing a new one for about a year. It also marked the day that I was finally able to play Pokemon Go without it crashing. Better late than never! In order to fuel my new found Pokemon hunting it was important to keep my energy levels up so as always, a day filled with delicious food was necessary.
