As I write this you would not think it was June. The sky is clouded and the rain is pouring. A contrast to the weather we’ve had over the past couple of weeks. I honestly feel as if our summer has came and went. However, it’s not all doom and gloom and the arrival of this months Sourced Box has brightened up this week significantly.

SOURCED BOX | MAY ’17

First year of uni complete and my summer has officially began! My plans for the summer of 2017 is to drink myself into oblivion with my friends, go on my first ever group holiday without my parents, go to a bunch of theme parks with my family and hopefully spend more time making things from my collection of recipe books. Snacks will obviously be needed in between all of this and Sourced Box have me off to a great start with their May box. With the perfect mix of sweet and savoury, I can’t wait to dive in.

SOURCED BOX | FEBRUARY ’17

Firstly I want to apologise for my disappearance over the past two weeks. The end of last month and the whole of this month is pretty hectic. Turns out I’m not overly good with balancing uni work, a social life and my other interests and it’s unfortunately the latter that suffers most. However, I’ve made time this evening to write up my monthly Sourced Box post.

What with February being the month of Valentines Day, this months box heavily reflects that. From heart shaped snacks to indulgent chocolate, who needs true love when you have snacks?

SOURCED BOX | JANUARY ’17

A year ago I received the first ever Sourced Box. 12 months later I still have no regrets about signing up to this healthy snacking subscription. I still feel that same excitement I felt that very first month whenever I receive the dispatched email.

THE CHRISTMAS BALANCE

With only a few more days to go until the big day, no doubt you’ll have already dived into the mince pies and boxes of Quality Street. As much as I am all about eating whatever you want – especially at Christmastime – I’m also all about balance and even though that balance may go a bit skew-whiff during December, I do try my best to keep some healthy snacks on hand. MY VITAMINS BLACK FRIDAY BOX

My family have always done well with competitions. Some people claim that we’re ‘lucky.’ To that I say no, we just enter a lot of competitions. A LOT. If you enter them multiple times a week then you’re bound to win something eventually. This year I have mainly won snacks. My latest competition success was the Black Friday My Vitamins box.
